2012 in Sunday School is going to be an amazing adventure.  Romance, intrigue, murder, and so much more.  We will be looking at how God has been intimately involved in human history from Creation to now by studying the main characters of the Old Testament.  By looking at this "TIMELINE," we can see the loving and sometimes correcting hand of God.  Below is the plan - check it out.

January:
   * 1st - Creation (vs. evolution), God's involvement
   * 8th - Adam & Eve (the Fall) 1st prophecy of Christ
   * 15th - Noah
   * 22nd - Abraham (Gen. 12:1-3) Blessed to be a blessing.  Covenant with God.
   * 29th - Abraham & Isaac

February:
   * 5th - Isaac & Ishmael
   * 12th - Jacob & Esau
   * 19th - Jacob->Israel
   * 26th - Joseph
March:

   *  4th - Moses
   * 11th - Moses (post Exodus) wandering, manna, Tabernacle, 10 Commandments & Law
   * 18th - Caleb, spies & Rahab - preparing to take the land
   * 25th - Joshua - former spy, Joshua 1, Ai, Jericho
April (is Judges month):

   * 1st - Ehud & Eglon
   * 8th - Deborah, Sisera & Jael - Two Gals and a Tentpeg
   * 15th - Gideon
   * 22nd - Japheth
   * 29th - Samson
May:

   * 6th - Ruth & Naomi & Boaz
   * 13th - Samuel - Hannah, Eli & God speaks to Samuel
   * 20th - Samuel & Saul - request for a king (rejection of God as king)
   * 27th - Saul (a rejected king) God gave Israel what they asked for (David & Goliath)
June:

   * 3rd - David (servant leader, a man after God's own heart, Jonathan, a warrior king)
   * 10th - David's - Amon, Tamar & Absalom…Bathsheba
   * 17th - Solomon - wisdom & wealth
   * 24th - Solomon - wine & women

July:
   * 1st - Jeroboam & Rehoboam - dividing the kingdom, 10 vs. 2, Israel meets Judah
   * 8th - Elijah & Ahab (Mt. Carmel, (served during the kings…)
   * 15th - Elisha (2x spirit of Elijah), Naaman, bears, widows oil, death in the pot (served during the reigns of…)
   * 22nd - Jehu kills Ahabs family, Jezebel, & tears down Baal's temple
   * 29th - Joash repairs the Temple, grandmother tries to kill him, falls away when counselor dies
August:

   * 5th - Hezekiah is king while Israel taken captive by Assyria
   * 12th - Manasseh - captive, prayer & forgiveness
   * 19th - Josiah - found law, reforms, etc.
   * 26th - fall of Jerusalem
September:

   * 2nd - review & Daniel's diet
   * 9th - Shadrach, Meshach & Abednego
   * 16th - Daniel & Nebuchadnezzar
   * 23rd - Daniel & lions and prophecies of end times (Messiah Dan. 9:24)
   * 30th - Esther & the salvation of the Israel
October:

   * 7th - Ezra, Nehemiah & a remnant returns
   * 14th - Job

   * 28th - minor prophets & 400 years of silence

November:
   * 4th - Zechariah + Elizabeth = John the Baptist
