WHAT IS "CONNECT, WORSHIP, GROW, SERVE"?
"Connect, Worship, Grow, Serve" represents a renewed focus of Hazelwood Christian Church to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission. It is designed to intentionally lead every member of HCC to full maturity in Christ.

Goal – To connect people to Christ.
Key Question – Who is God and how do I get to know Him?
Scripture – 2 Cor. 5:21, “God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

Goal – To teach people to worship God with their lives.
Key Question – What does it mean to love God and others?
Scripture – Matt. 22:37-39, “Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Goal – To equip people to keep growing closer to Christ.
Key Question – How do I mature in Christ?
Scripture - Heb. 6:1, “Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God.”

Goal – To challenge people to serve others as Jesus did.
Key Question – What does a godly servant look like?
Scripture – Gal. 5:13, “You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature, rather, serve one another in love.”
